H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh is a Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet, the Managing Director of Dolphin Energy Limited and the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). With three decades of international experience and business leadership.
H.E. Al Sayegh holds several positions in a number of leading public and private institutions in Abu Dhabi, and has an extensive track record in launching and developing pioneering initiatives across various key industries. In addition, H.E. Al Sayegh’s portfolio includes being a Board Member of Etihad Airways Group, and Chairman of Al Jazira Capital Real Estate Investment and Development, to name a few.
As part of his corporate citizen commitments, H.E. Al Sayegh is also on the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University, the Deputy Chairman of the Emirates Nature-WWF, and was the founding Managing Director of the Emirates Foundation.
In his corporate career, H.E. Al Sayegh served in several key capacities including as the former founding Chairman of Aldar Properties, founding Chairman of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), and Deputy Chairman of First Gulf Bank. Mr. Obaid Abdulla Al Dhaheri is the Chief Executive Officer of Dolphin Energy Limited.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Al Dhaheri was the company’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the function of corporate finance, risk, quality and strategy.
Al Dhaheri joined Dolphin Energy in 2004 as a Business Analyst tasked with economic modeling, business planning and corporate reporting. He progressed up the corporate ladder to lead the Strategic & Corporate Planning Division.
Al Dhaheri is a graduate of BSc in Science with concentration in Physics & Electrical Engineering from Portland State University.
Mr. Hassan Al-Emadi is the General Manager of Dolphin Energy in Qatar with overall responsibility for all company activities upstream. Prior to that, Mr Al-Emadi held the position of Chief Operating Officer – Upstream, responsible for all upstream operations and operations planning.
Mr Al-Emadi also served as Vice President for Qatar Operations, where he was responsible for safe and reliable operations of the Onshore Gas Plant, two Offshore Platforms, Sealines and Pipeline.
Joining Dolphin Energy in 2002, Al-Emadi began as Assistant Drilling Manager, then moved to Qatar Operations in 2004 as Deputy Operations Manager.
Prior to joining Dolphin Energy, Al-Emadi worked for some 15 years with Qatar Petroleum, including three years’ secondment to Occidental Petroleum of Qatar.
Al-Emadi graduated with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, USA in 1989.
Mr. Ali Ahmed Al Mohannadi is the Deputy General Manager at Dolphin Energy. His responsibilities see him support both the management team and technical departments and oversees the development of the company’s national workforce.
Al Mohannadi has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas sector, covering upstream and downstream projects located offshore and onshore.
Al Mohannadi joined Qatar Petroleum as a Trainee in 1986. Following the completion of his development program, he was promoted to Senior Engineer in 1991 and made his way up the career ladder, including the position of Lead Project Engineer, to Assistant Engineering Manager in 2001.
Appointed Technical Services Manager in 2006, Ali was responsible for executing engineering studies for QP capital projects and provided technical support to QP’s operational areas. In addition, he contributed to a number of QP steering committees such as BH & MM fields and Dukhan re-development.
Al Mohannadi holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Chemical Engineering from Qatar University. He also sits on the board of the Qatar Vinyl Company.
Mr. Ali Alrahbi is Chief Operating Officer – Upstream at Dolphin Energy, responsible for all Upstream Operations and facilities. Prior to his current position, Mr. Alrahbi was the Senior Vice President for Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSE&S) at the company.
Mr. Alrahbi has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, starting his career in Qatar Petroleum in the Projects & Engineering Department.
He transferred to Dolphin Energy in 2002 and has since occupied various positions to support the Dolphin Gas Project as it developed.
Alrahbi holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, USA and an MSc in Loss Prevention and Process Safety from the University of Sheffield UK. He completed the INSEAD Executive Leadership Program in 2014.
Mr. Khalid Al Marzouqi is the Chief Operating Officer – Downstream at Dolphin Energy Limited, responsible for overseeing the entire Operations Downstream Division in the UAE. He provides overall direction to Operations, Technical Services and Business Support, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply to customers in the UAE and Oman. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Dolphin Energy’s Technical Services Division, which provided mid to long term solutions that address engineering, safety, operability, reliability and integrity issues relating to the company’s assets in the UAE and Qatar.
From 2009 to 2014, Al Marzouqi held the position Deputy Vice President Technical Services UAE, overseeing all technical requirements for Dolphin Energy’s downstream operations.
Between 2008-2009, Al Marzouqi worked for the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport. In his capacity as Executive Manager, he was responsible for the public transport section which designed, developed and launched the current Abu Dhabi bus system.
Prior to his first spell with Dolphin Energy when he worked as senior gas manager in the Marketing & Commercial Division between 2005-2009, Al Marzouqi spent nine years at the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) where he was senior maintenance manager for two power/desalination plants in the western region of the emirate.
Before that, Al Marzouqi worked at ADCO between 1992-1995 as a petroleum engineer with responsibilities ranging from drilling, wire line and production.
Al Marzouqi has more than twenty five years’ experience in the energy industry and holds two majors in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.
Mr. Maurice Wingo is the Chief Financial Officer at Dolphin Energy Limited. He is responsible for supervising all accounting and finance treasury functions. In addition, he oversees Dolphin Energy’s strategy, business plan, key performance indicators, benchmarking, corporate reporting, enterprise risk management and all economic evaluations in the UAE and Qatar.
Prior to that, Mr. Wingo was the Director Marketing and Commercial and Senior Manager in charge of the Strategic and Corporate Planning Department.
Mr. Wingo has more than 30 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Prior to joining Dolphin Energy, he held various operations, exploration and business development roles with Occidental Petroleum, worked as a Production Engineer for Conoco in addition to taking roles with a number of oil and gas consultants.
Mr. Wingo holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin and a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He is also a graduate of the UCLA Executive Business program. Mr. Wingo is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a member of both the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
Mr. Mohsin Jagani is the Chief Internal Audit of Dolphin Energy’s Internal Audit Division. He oversees all auditing activities and operations as approved by the Board’s Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee. Through his leadership, Internal Audit assists Dolphin Energy in the UAE and Qatar to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes and make recommendations for improvement where required.
Prior to joining Dolphin Energy, Jagani worked at the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund for over six years as the Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management.
His career spans more than 20 years and started in Canada and then the USA at various financial institutions including Citibank, Bank of Montreal in the realm of Investments & Internal Audit.
Jagani is a qualified Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Risk Manager (CIRM) and holds certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
Mr. Anwar H Zuarub is the Senior Vice President of Dolphin Energy’s Projects Division. He oversees the development and implementation of all projects in the UAE and Qatar.
Zuarub joined Dolphin Energy in November 2005 as Senior Projects Manager, tasked with the development of Eastern Gas Distribution System (EGDS) Project, during the FEED stage. He was then promoted to the post of Deputy Vice President in May 2008 in charge of Projects in the UAE. Major Projects such as EGDS and TFP were successfully completed during this period. In January 2012 Zuarub assumed responsibility for Projects in Qatar.
Prior to joining Dolphin Energy, Zuarub worked at Union Water & Electricity Co. PJSC (UWEC), from 2001, as a Control and Automation System Specialist. He was promoted in April 2002 to the post of Project Manager for Fujairah – Al Dhaid 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line Project.
From August 2002, Zuarub was nominated as a Technical Committee Member to the Emirates National Grid (ENG), to represent UWEC along with other member authorities, FEWA, ADWEA, DEWA & SEWA. He was then promoted to the post of Technical Services Manager.
Before joining UWEC, Zuarub was stationed at ADNOC’s Gas Processing Directorate in 1995 as Control Engineer and was later promoted to Sr. Control Engineer. He continued there until 2001 and was responsible for pneumatic and electronics instrumentation, which controlled five trains of gas processing and related utilities.
Zuarub graduated in Electronics from the University of Toledo, Ohio U.S.A., in 1995.
Mr. Ajlan Al Qubaisi is Senior Vice President Marketing & Commercial, having joined Dolphin Energy in 2003 as Team Leader, Gas Sales Department. Al Qubaisi has held various positions and in January 2008 fulfilled his role as Senior Sales Manager, prior to his promotion.
Al Qubaisi started his career at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and spent six years in the company’s Marketing and Refining Directorate.
He is a graduate of the Eastern Washington University, completing his Bachelor of Business Administration, with an emphasis on General Management and Political Science in 1996.
Mr. Jassim Al Jasmi is Senior Vice President Technical Services Upstream at Dolphin Energy. He is responsible for developing strategies and plans and overseeing departments in charge of the array of technical, engineering, reservoir engineering, asset integrity and improvement project management disciplines aimed at sustaining and increasing the availability and performance of the company’s assets and reservoirs in Qatar.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Al Jasmi started his career at Qatar Petroleum (QP) in 1994. He proceeded later to study Engineering in the United States. Following graduation, Al Jasmi took a position in QP working in the maintenance department. In 2002, Al Jasmi joined Dolphin Energy as an engineer working for the Projects Department assigned to the pre FEED/FEED team working with Sofersid and later with Foster Wheeler in Paris. In 2005, Al Jasmi joined Dolphin Energy’s construction, commissioning and startup teams and has since moved up the career ladder into positions of increasing responsibility within the Qatar Operations Division and latterly the Technical Services Division, including Plant Availability Manager and later Director of Engineering until he reached his current position.
Al Jasmi is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio in the United States and holds a BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Mr. Fares Chemouni joined Dolphin Energy in November 2005 as Deputy Vice President of Information Technology and Automation (IT&A).
In 2007, he became Vice President of Corporate Affairs in charge of Information Technology, Automation, Human Resources & Administration, Procurement & Contracts, Corporate Communications & Corporate Affairs-related activities, providing strategic and tactical planning and coordination of corporate affairs entities. In 2014, he was appointed Senior Vice President Corporate Affairs.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, Chemouni has held various IT and management positions within Total and has worked in the United States, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, where he has spent the last 12 years.
He holds a BSc degree in Computer Science, an MBA in International Business and a PhD in Management Information Systems from universities in the USA. He is also a Certified Data Processor.
