Dolphin Energy To Sell Natural Gas To Ras Al Khaimah From 2005

Abu Dhabi, October 13, 2004 – Dolphin Energy Limited announced today that it will sell natural gas to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah from March 2005.

The gas will be delivered to the RAK Gas Commission via a tie-in, near Qidfa in Fujairah, with the existing Emarat gas pipeline network, which serves the UAE’s Northern Emirates. A quantity of about 40 million cubic feet will be supplied daily, for a period of two years and five months through to end of July 2007.

The Gas Sales Agreement was signed this morning by His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah on behalf of the Ras Al Khaimah Gas Commission and by Dolphin’s CEO, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh.

For the Ras Al Khaimah Gas Commission, His Highness Sheikh Saud commented: “The Commission welcomes its new relationship with Dolphin Energy, and looks forward to building on this association with Dolphin. This exciting initiative will help fuel future industries in Ras Al Khaimah.”

Commenting on the Gas Sales Agreement, Mr Al Sayegh said: “Dolphin is delighted to have established this working relationship with Ras Al Khaimah, and to be supplying natural gas to the Emirate for the first time.

“We hope to gain a sound understanding of Ras Al Khaimah’s requirements and to establish a basis for future supply expansion.”

Dolphin is able to supply gas to Ras Al Khaimah, further to the company’s signature of a Gas Sales & Purchase Agreement (GSPA) with Oman Oil Company in February 2003.
