1999

Dolphin Energy was established by the
Abu Dhabi Government.

2003

The 182-kilometer Al Ain-Fujairah Gas Pipeline was completed.

2007

The Dolphin Gas Project began production in Qatar and transportation to the UAE started.

2008

Full throughput of 2 billion standard cubic feet of natural gas per day was achieved. Delivery of gas to Oman started.

2010

The 244-kilometer Taweelah-Fujairah Gas Pipeline was finalized.

2013

Dolphin Energy reached 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent of cumulative gross production.

2014

The 5 trillion standard cubic feet production milestone was reached.

2015

Three new export gas compressors were installed to enhance reliability and availability of natural gas exports.

2016

A new long-term Gas Sales Agreement was signed with Qatar Energy, to provide additional gas to RAK Gas LLC and SEWA.

2017

Dolphin Energy marked a decade of natural gas production, processing and delivery since first gas.

2018

350 million barrels of condensate production had been achieved since operations began.

2019

Dolphin Energy announced its dedicated offshore emergency pipeline repair system, ASSIST (Advanced SubSea Intervention & Support Technology), was fully operational.

2021

The 10 trillion cubic feet production milestone was reached.

2022

Dolphin Energy marked 15 years of natural gas production, processing and delivery.

2023

Dolphin Energy signed the Oil and Gas Decarbonization Charter during COP28.
