Dolphin Energy Is First Abu Dhabi Company To Enroll Staff For National E-Gate System

Abu Dhabi - March 30, 2008

Ministry of Interior's "Positive Response" to Unique Management Initiative

Dolphin Energy Limited has completed a unique administrative project with the Ministry of Interior, designed to ensure that all senior management and staff possess E-Gate access cards.

Dolphin was the first-ever company in Abu Dhabi to invite the Ministry to its offices for this purpose. Officials of the Ministry’s Naturalization and Residency Section duly set up a fully-equipped in-house operation at Dolphin’s Abu Dhabi Head Office, so as to offer managers and key staff a swift method of acquiring their personal E-cards.

“The E-Card will save considerable time for our staff when leaving, or entering, through any UAE airport,” said Dolphin’s Deputy Vice President for HR & Administration, Omar Salem Al Ameri.

“We are very grateful to Major General Mohammed Salem Al Kheely – General Manager of the Naturalization and Residency Department at the Ministry – for his positive reaction, and to Lt Ahmad Al Dallal, Head of the Ministry’s E-Gate Section, who processed the documentation for more than 60 of our management.”

Dolphin Energy Limited

Dolphin Energy Limited was created to develop substantial energy projects throughout the GCC and to create long-term economic wealth and new business opportunities for GCC citizens, far into the future.

Dolphin Energy’s major strategic initiative, the Dolphin Project, involves the production and processing of natural gas from Qatar’s North Field, and transportation of the dry gas by sub-sea export pipeline from Qatar to the UAE, which begun in July 2007.

The long term customers for Dolphin gas from Qatar are ADWEA (Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority), UWEC (Union Water & Electricity Authority), DUSUP (Dubai Supply Authority) and from 2008 OOC (Oman Oil Company). Each has signed a gas supply agreement with Dolphin Energy for 25 years.

Dolphin Energy is owned 51 percent by Mubadala Development Company, on behalf of the Government of Abu Dhabi – and 24.5 percent each by Total of France and Occidental Petroleum of the USA.
