Dolphin Energy has followed a policy of sponsoring select cultural events including art exhibitions, theatre and other performing arts. Recent successful events include Argentinian modern ballet evening late in 2005; the ‘Language of the Desert’  Art Fair in Abu Dhabi in early 2007 – featuring original and challenging works by many GCC artists – and since 2008 major sponsorship of the internationally renowned Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Festival (ADMAF).

The company also sponsors high quality books on the natural history and culture of the region. Recent volumes have focused on flora and wild birds.
In 2007 the illustrated book ‘Dolphin’ was published. It depicts   every stage of the Dolphin life cycle through the use of stunningly dramatic photographs from around the world.

Its publication  was followed in 2008 with the  book entitled ‘Coral’ which documents and richly illustrates the three year regional coral study program that  sponsored by Dolphin Energy in celebration of the International Year of the Reef.

In 2009, Dolphin embarked on the sponsorship and support of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. The event provides a perfect platform for the emirate to further its ambitions to become a leading destination for arts and culture. Dolphin’s involvement endorses those plans and complements its commitment to programs that create cultural understanding and awareness.
