In September 2007, Dolphin Energy started sharing a 14,000 tons capacity sulfur storage system with Qatargas and RasGas.
Dolphin is a partner in a new 12,000 tons per day capacity system, which was built during 2007 and early 2008. The system supplies liquid sulfur sent by several gas producers to a central processing facility, where the liquid is converted to granules. A new granulated sulfur storage facility, holding up to 180,000 tons, stores the dry product prior to sale and export.
