Condensate Storage and Export

Dolphin Energy has constructed three 500,000 barrel storage tanks for condensate at Ras Laffan, which have been in use since July 2007. One further tank of the same size is to be constructed, plus two further tanks each holding 660,000 barrels.

Use of this facility is shared with Qatar Shell GTL and the Barzan Gas Project – a joint venture of Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil Corporation. Condensate is sent to loading berths at Ras Laffan Port through a dedicated 32 inch line.
